Detail Description

The Meril Megasorb #4-0 is a synthetic absorbable braided suture made from polyglycolic acid (PGA), designed for secure and efficient soft tissue approximation. Its multifilament braided structure provides excellent handling, flexibility, and knot security while maintaining high tensile strength during the critical healing period. The suture is gradually absorbed by hydrolysis within approximately 60–90 days, eliminating the need for removal and improving patient comfort. It is widely used in oral, plastic, and general surgical procedures requiring reliable short-term wound support.
