The Meril Megasorb #3-0 is a synthetic absorbable braided suture made from polyglycolic acid (PGA), designed for secure and efficient soft tissue approximation and ligation. Its multifilament braided construction ensures excellent handling, flexibility, and reliable knot security while maintaining consistent tensile strength during the critical early healing phase. The suture is gradually absorbed through hydrolysis within approximately 60–90 days, eliminating the need for removal and improving patient comfort.
