Ammdent GI Silver is a silver-reinforced glass ionomer restorative cement designed for high-strength core build-ups, posterior restorations, and intermediate restorations. The incorporation of finely powdered silver particles significantly enhances the mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and radiopacity of conventional glass ionomer cement.

It retains the core advantages of glass ionomer systems such as chemical adhesion to enamel and dentin and sustained fluoride release, while offering improved durability in stress-bearing clinical areas. Its self-curing nature ensures easy handling without the need for light activation, making it suitable for a wide range of restorative procedures in general dentistry.
