Detail Description

3M ESPE RelyX Temp NE is a non-eugenol temporary luting cement designed for the provisional cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays. Its eugenol-free formulation ensures compatibility with resin-based permanent cements, making it suitable for cases where future adhesive bonding is planned.

The material provides reliable marginal sealing to help protect against microleakage and bacterial infiltration while maintaining patient comfort. It allows easy removal of excess cement after partial set, improving clinical efficiency and reducing chair time.

• 1 × Base Paste (30 g)

• 1 × Catalyst Paste (13 g)

• 1 × Mixing Pad

• Product Type: Temporary luting cement

• Chemistry: Non-eugenol resin-based system

• Application: Temporary crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays

• Setting Time: ~4–5 minutes (intraoral)

• Mixing Type: Hand-mix or automix system compatible

• Use Duration: Short-term provisional cementation

• Ensure tooth and restoration surfaces are clean and dry before cementation

• Mix equal parts base and catalyst until uniform consistency

• Apply thin layer inside temporary restoration

• Seat restoration firmly and allow intraoral setting

• Remove excess cement during partial set phase

• Advise patient to avoid hard or sticky foods initially

• Fully sets intraorally for stable temporary retention
